Welcome to Roseville Junior High School!  R.J.H.S. is one of the largest junior high schools in Macomb County, providing educational opportunities to students in grades seven through nine.  Currently there are approx. 970 students enrolled at R.J.H.S.

The educational staff at R.J.H.S. consists of sixty-five teachers, 1.4 Social Workers,  two teacher consultants, 2.5 counselors, three paraprofessionals, two assistant principals and a principal.

At Roseville Junior High we encourage active participation on the part of staff, students and parents in the educational process.  We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and will continue to improve as we focus on student academics, employability skills and citizenship.

School Improvement
Roseville Junior High School has merged district goals.  North Central Association (NCA) accreditation goals, and MEAP plans into a comprehensive school improvement plan.  The school staff meets on a regular basis to assess progress and develop future plans.

This year, Roseville Community Schools will begin the second year of a new NCA transitions accreditation cycle.  NCA is a nationally recognized accreditation agency.  Last spring, Roseville Junior High School students, parents, and teachers were surveyed regarding the school's academic program and climate.  MEAP data also has been analyzed.  The following academic goals have been identified: reading, writing, and math.  During the school year, staff members will identify research-based strategies that can promote improvement in these areas.  These strategies will then be implemented and evaluated by means of various data collection methods.  The expected outcomes of our school improvement efforts include an increase in the number of students scoring Levels 1 and 2 on the MEAP assessments and a decrease in the number of students scoring Levels 3 and 4.

The Roseville Junior High School staff looks forward to working with parents, community members, and students on the attainment of these goals.
