PROBLEM:  NO SOUND
  • Check audio mixer settings.
  • Turn on VCR (if present).
  • Make sure handheld microphones are ON.
  • Make sure audio source (TV or preview monitor) is not muted or on volume 0.

PROBLEM:  VCR ON CART IS NOT WORKING
  • Make sure VCR is turned on and fully connected to the cart.
  • Try powering the VCR off and back on again.
  • If your VCR is showing an "ERR" message, the VCR will need to be replaced.  Please have your building tech submit an incident.

PROBLEM:  BLUE SCREEN ON TV MONITOR
  • Make sure VCR is on L1 (Video 1).
  • Make sure all video cables are securely connected.

PROBLEM: BLACK SCREEN ON TV MONITOR
  • Make sure lens cap is off.
  • Make sure camera is ON.

PROBLEM:  SNOW ON CLASSROOM TELEVISIONS
  • Make sure Global or Auxiliary channel corresponds to cart you are using.
  • Securely connect RF cable at each end.
  • Make sure all devices on cart are turned ON.
  • Make sure cart modulator shows green light.
  • Make sure headend modulator shows green light.
  • If neither modulator light is lit, please have your building tech submit an incident.

PROBLEM:  SCREECHING NOISES WHILE USING CART
  • You are hearing feedback, which can be caused by having microphones too close to speakers...
  • Turn volume of preview monitor on cart to "0" and mute any other TVs in the broadcasting area.
