MEAL MAGIC INFORMATION
The Roseville Community School's Food Service Department is pleased to announce the implementation of a new computerized point of sale (POS) system called Meal Magic. With this new system, you may use your student ID card as a swipe card, or enter your student ID number on a pin pad, to purchase food with pre-paid funds.
Using Meal Magic allows parents to discreetly submit applications for free and reduced-price meals over the Internet.

National School Lunch/School Breakfast Program
The Roseville Community Schools participate in the National School Lunch/School Breakfast program.  Nutritious meals are served every school day.  All meals served must meet patterns established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 

Students may qualify for free or reduced price meal benefits.  Applications must be submitted each school year.  Applications are available throughout the school year from the Food Service Department.  Questions regarding free and reduced priced meal benefits should be directed to the Food Service Department.  Breakfast and lunch monies may be prepaid and sent in weekly.  Make checks payable to Roseville Community Schools.  Checks are preferred.

Professional Affiliations

The Food Service Department maintains affiliations with several associations that benefit School Food Service management and child nutrition.  The American School Food Service Association is based in Alexandria, Virginia.  Their Internet address is www.schoolnutrition.org.  Please visit their site to learn many interesting things pertaining to child nutrition.

The School Nutrition Association of Michigan provides professional training and personal development services for its members and is and action branch of the ASFSA.

The Michigan School Business Officials Association also have a very active Food Service Program and Research Committee, which assists the Association in it's Child Nutrition responsibilities.
