mission of the Roseville Community Schools and Pierce Elementary
School, in a cooperative partnership with students, home, and the
community, is to develop lifelong learners prepared to meet the
challenges of the future.
SCHOOL
MOTTO Literacy
is for LIFE!
BELIEFS
High
standards of performance are expected of all students
and staff. In
order for children to achieve the home and school must
share joint responsibility for the child’s
development. We believe that all children can and will learn. It is important for children from diverse
backgrounds to learn respect and cooperate with one
another. The school fosters open communication between
school and the home. We will increase knowledge and the use of
technology. Students thrive in a safe and non-threatening
environment. Students are responsible for their own actions,
behavior, and learning. Education is an integral part of developing
responsible citizens of tomorrow. Students will be encouraged to be creative
thinkers, problem solvers, and effective
communicators.
VISION
STATEMENT Pierce
Elementary School will afford a quality education for all students so
that they will be able to reach their full potential and make a
significant contribution to society.
Pierce Panther Student Pledge
I promise today to do my very BEST
In reading, math, and all the rest.
I also pledge to obey every rule,
In my class and while in school.
I will respect others and myself too,
I will expect my best in all I do.
I am here to learn all I can,
To try my best and be all that I am.
