I have always appreciated that our school is named
Arbor Elementary. For me, Arbor brings to mind images of shaded gardens
with mature trees like our courtyard. As we publish the
final newsletter, there is a sense of sadness. For over 50 years,
Arbor has grown roots: strong connections and relationships between
students, families, and staff members that have matured over time. As
the Arbor era ends, take some time to appreciate all of the nurturing,
growth, and learning that has taken place due to the commitment and
dedication of our parents, staff and volunteers. Each of us has special
memories to cherish. However, also realize that as we prepare for the
change to new schools, we have an opportunity to establish new roots, to
branch out and grow, in order to create another special learning
community. With appreciation and best wishes, Mr. VanHouten |
