MEET MR. WIGHTMAN
Mr. Shawn K. Wightman has been
working in the profession of education for over
seventeen
years as a regular classroom teacher, assistant
principal, Title 1/Section 31 a Coordinator, and
Instructional Specialist. Presently, he is working on
his Doctorate Degree of Elementary Curriculum &
Instruction at Wayne State University. He has Education
Specialist degree in General Administration &
Supervision, Masters of Arts in Teaching, and he has a
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Group Minors. He
feels that his knowledge and experience in curriculum
development, assessment, school improvement processes,
and educational background have all prepared him for
this very important administrative role.
During his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing,
watching movies, swimming, and visiting with family and
friends.
