Student Assistance Program |
The Student Assistance
Program (SAP) in one way or
another services every student at Eastland Junior High
School. Several topics fall under this extensive
program, the topics have included: tobacco awareness,
listening skills, suicide detection/prevention, conflict
resolution, peer mediation and alcohol/drunk driving.
This program assesses the needs of students and the
building as a whole, to allow for various groups and
workshops for students. Workshops have included:
children of divorce, anger management, chemical
awareness, self-awareness, self-esteem, grief & loss,
and social skills. |
