BKAM GOALS
To provide a safe,
growth-oriented environment for students in and out of the
classroom. It will likely motivate, challenge, and inspire
students to excel in learning.
Parent
and upper school age volunteers will provide supervised and constructive
instruction.
Each
student will receive the best educational experiences and fundamental
resources available.
Each
sessions theme will help your child grow using a combination of
educational and fun offerings.
Parents
will receive a detailed project calendar before the beginning of each
session.
Attract students to
more learning experiences via Extra-Curricular Activities.
Parents are required to fill out a thorough permission slip with
contact information. It is for the safety of the child.
Strengthen the
partnership between home and school by getting parents participation in
the learning process.
The program depends on volunteers. Thank you to those who have
helped in the past. WE ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGING YOUR COMMITMENT
AND INVOLVEMENT. If you are interested in becoming a BKAM
Volunteer, please contact the school office at 445-5740. You can
also pick a complete information packet in the BKAM box in the main
office. If you are unable to help at school, please consider
providing suggestions or working at home to prepare future projects.
Build lasting
alliances with businesses, community organizations, families and
schools.
There is a great need for donations towards our BKAM program.
Please check your basements and collect anything being thrown away at
work. We will attempt to use just about anything! You, or a
local business you are familiar with, can provide items from the
donation list. In return, we hope to reciprocate this support to
our community via volunteer services. Cash donations are also
great! If you are interested in a cash donation to BKAM, please
make your check out to Roseville Community Schools, designating BKAM in
the note, and bring it to Alumni's office. BKAM will have a list
of needed supplies, updated at the beginning of every session, in the
BKAM box. There is also a link below.
Please contact BKAM
with questions, suggestions, requests to participate, etc.
Email: BKAM Project Coordinator, Contessa
Lopez.
In person: Use the BKAM box in the school's main office.
